Introduction to Animecoin

Animecoin (ANIME) aims to transform global anime fans into a community-managed network. Currently, most anime fans only act as spectators, but Animecoin’s goal is to position them as active participants and, in a sense, owners.

Animecoin is called a cultural token that converts cultural atmosphere into real value, thereby integrating the anime world with blockchain technology. The cryptocurrency named ANIME acts as a Gas Token on Animechain. Users need ANIME to execute any transactions.

Founders of Animecoin

Animecoin was founded by Alex Xu (nickname Zagabond) in 2022.

How Animecoin Works

Animecoin aims to turn fans of the anime industry into active participants. The design involves Animechain, anime.com, and Azuki IP playing important roles.

Animechain is a Layer 3 blockchain developed using Arbitrum Orbit technology. All transactions on the network are completed using the ANIME token, which acts as a Gas Token. Additionally, it is reported that Animechain supports 40,000 transactions per second.

Anime.com serves as the distribution platform of the ecosystem, aiming to become a social layer unique to the anime world, similar to Discord. It focuses on visuals, live streaming, and digital collectibles. Azuki IP encourages co-creation, enabling the community to shape characters and stories. Finally, the ecosystem is managed by AnimeDAO, with ANIME token holders having voting rights.

ANIME Token

ANIME is the cryptocurrency of the Animecoin ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on community ownership. It facilitates transaction execution, governance, and value sharing among fans.

The total supply is 10 billion ANIME, with the token distribution plan as follows:

  • Community: 50.5%
  • Azuki Community: 37.5%
  • Community Development: 13%
  • Domain Expansion: 24.44%
  • Team, Advisors, and Company: 23.06%
  • Partners: 2%

ANIME has broad uses within the ecosystem. First, it is used as a Gas Token on Animechain, and as a governance token on AnimeDAO. Additionally, it is used to fund independent creators and strengthen the DAO treasury, which is composed of staking fees.

How to Buy ANIME

To purchase Animecoin, you first need to create an account on a cryptocurrency exchange. Then, complete the identity verification process. To complete the purchase, your account must have a balance. If there is no balance, you can choose payment methods such as bank transfer or credit card. After depositing funds, you can buy the desired amount of assets.

Basic steps to purchase ANIME:

  1. Click on “Buy/Sell” or “Market” at the top of the exchange homepage
  2. Enter Animecoin or ANIME in the search box to find it
  3. Click the “Buy” button to start trading (requires account login or creation)
  4. Enter the amount to purchase and proceed
  5. The system will automatically check your account balance; if sufficient, the transaction completes; otherwise, you need to recharge
  6. Finally, click the “Buy” button to confirm the transaction, and the cryptocurrency will arrive shortly

Anime community coin? Sounds pretty good. I like the idea of turning fans into real participants. Wait, why is there suddenly no more content? What about the rest? Really? Can cultural tokens actually make money? Does that mean my second-dimensional taste is also valuable, haha? But honestly, there are so many of these community coins. If any can last more than a year, I’ll consider myself beaten.

Anime fans become owners? Sounds good, but can this coin be redeemed? It's another cultural token, I've seen this routine too many times haha A community-managed network... wait, who will manage it? In the end, it's still those few big players calling the shots ANIME wants to turn fans into participants, but I really want to know how the liquidity is It sounds great, but in reality? You need to look at the tokenomics to judge whether this is reliable or not

Anime fans can also become sponsors? This move is a bit novel. --- The concept of cultural tokens sounds impressive, but can it really turn passion into money? --- Community management sounds great, but in the end, isn't it just big players harvesting the profits? --- Wait, isn't this just fancy packaging of fans as ATMs? --- By the way, how much can ANIME increase to? What's the current price? --- Another concept coin, has the anime IP gone bankrupt? Why do they have to do this? --- So, us otakus finally have a use, haha.

Anime fans can earn tokens? That sounds ridiculous, the crypto world is starting to get sentimental again --- Cultural tokens? Just listen, the ones who really make money are not fans at all --- After hearing so much about community management, in the end, it's still the big players who call the shots --- Tokenizing hobbies, beware of a wave of scams that might even look down on serial dramas --- ANIME coin... I bet five cents this is just another air project --- Interesting, but I want to see real trading volume and distribution of holdings --- Another scheme under the guise of culture to cut leeks? --- Combining blockchain with the anime world is fresh, but why do I always feel something's off --- Fans becoming owners? Wake up, if the price drops, you're nothing

Anime fans become owners? Sounds pretty fancy, but I've seen this trick quite a few times... --- Another cultural token? Wake up everyone, the ones truly making money have already left. --- Treating fans as cash cows or partners, it all depends on how they proceed next. --- Owners? Ha, just believe what the white paper says, it’s all the same anyway. --- Anime communities are indeed large, but whether they can truly be implemented is the real key. --- Again with "community-driven," I'm tired of hearing this... how many truly decentralize? --- The name ANIME is straightforward and direct, but think about whether it’s a scam... --- Not denying the concept is good, it all depends on how well the tokenomics model is designed.

Seeing this type of narrative coin just makes me laugh. It's just a new trick to harvest fans like leeks. The distribution of chips shows that the early team had already locked it in, a typical leek mentality.
