According to the Federal Police, the investigated group conducted large-scale fund transfers both domestically and internationally, combining cash transport, high-value bank transfers, and crypto asset operations to conceal and disguise the illegal origins of the funds.

The investigation shows that the scheme involves individuals mentioned in previous investigations, as well as new persons and companies created or used to give a legitimate appearance to financial operations.

According to investigators, the criminal mechanism operates in a coordinated manner, including interstate value transportation (including cash), continuous bank transfers, and crypto asset operations, all of which enable large sums of money to flow without immediately triggering alarms. The identified financial amount so far exceeds R$ 39 million, and according to the Federal Police, this number may increase as the investigation progresses.

The judiciary also ordered the seizure of assets from the suspects and imposed restrictions on companies. Measures include prohibiting commercial transactions and the transfer of movable and immovable property purchased with funds allegedly derived from criminal activities. The aim is to prevent asset loss during the investigation.

During the execution of search warrants, temporary arrests were made, and vehicles, cash, documents, and equipment that could help reconstruct the group’s financial flows were seized. The Federal Police stated that the investigation is ongoing and that new measures are not ruled out.

The suspects may face charges related to criminal organization, money laundering, and foreign exchange evasion.
