ChainCatcher message indicates that hacker John (Lick), suspected of involvement in the 2024 US government $90 million theft case, has started depositing funds into Tornado Cash. Currently, 11,037 ETH (approximately $33 million) have been transferred to the mixer.

Piedun states that this individual is also linked to a series of thefts targeting unidentified victims between November and December 2025.
