The U.S. military is currently in the process of gradually withdrawing from military bases in Syria. According to a report on February 21st last week, the withdrawal from the Khasakah military base in northeastern Syria has already begun. Prior to this, U.S. officials stated that they had completed the withdrawal from the Tanuf and Shaddadi military bases.

From a strategic standpoint, this series of withdrawals from military bases is considered part of the U.S. reorganization of its presence in the Middle East. The withdrawal process centered around Hasakah is expected to be completed within the next two months, and other military bases in northeastern Syria are also planned to be gradually scaled back.

According to reports from Jin10, an informed source, this withdrawal plan is also linked to the reorganization of military posture near the Jordan and Iraq borders. Over the coming months, the progress of these withdrawals from military bases in Syria will be closely monitored to assess their potential impact on the geopolitical balance in the Middle East.
