I had a few posts where I complained about the Left, especially the pro-Palestinian crowd, being quiet about the mass killing of protestors in Iran.
I got a number of responses from left leaning friends saying that they are against the slaughter. But so many things happen right now, (ICE, Greenland,Venezuela) that they have no bandwidth to also talk about Iran.
Then I told them about the estimated scale of the slaughter. And ask them if they agree to post about Iran now.
Crickets. None of them did.

Soon, Canadians will be able to buy Tesla Model 3 made in China at a lower cost.

Looks like gold is set to replace the USD as the next global reserve currency.
Probably a hybrid of physical gold, a BRICS or a Chinese currency pegged to gold, and a Stablecoin pegged to gold.
Down the road, I see Bitcoin added as well to the blend.

Should Alberta became independent from Canada?
I wish it was possible to have a smaller and less outreaching federal government. (Only Defence, foreign office, issuing passport, currency, court system, and maybe interprovincial projects... And that's all. Less regulations, and less taxes, )
But I doubt it's possible. My conclusion that it's not possible. And in the current political landscape, plan B, independent, is the option that makes more sense for those who value prosperity, and personal freedom.
