Oktober – Laut einer Analyse des amerikanischen Think Tanks “Institute for the Study of War” könnte die Ukraine, wenn sie mit der “Standardversion” des Tomahawk-Raketen mit einer Reichweite von 1600 Kilometern ausgestattet wird, mindestens 1655 militärische Ziele im russischen Gebiet angreifen, darunter 67 Luftwaffenstützpunkte wie den Luftwaffenstützpunkt Engels-2, an dem sich die russische strategische Bomberflotte befindet; mit der “Erweiterungsversion” des Tomahawk mit einer Reichweite von 2500 Kilometern könnten mindestens 1945 militärische Ziele angegriffen werden, darunter 76 Luftwaffenstützpunkte.
