Techub News Nachrichten, Electric Coin ehemaliger CEO Josh Swihart tweetete, dass die Maßnahmen der Mehrheit des Bootstrap-Vorstands, die in den letzten Wochen die Verwaltung von Electric Coin übernommen haben, deutlich von der Zcash-Mission abweichen; er nannte Zaki Manian, Christina Garman, Alan Fairless und Michelle Lai (ZCAM). Swihart sagte, das ECC-Team habe das Unternehmen gestern kollektiv verlassen, nachdem die Beschäftigungsbedingungen geändert und ZCAM „verdeckterweise entlassen“ wurde, und es bereite die Gründung eines neuen Unternehmens vor, werde aber die ursprüngliche Mission weiterhin verfolgen. Er fügte hinzu, dass das Zcash-Protokoll nicht betroffen sei.
