Gate News update. On April 11, according to CCTV News, Iranian sources said that the conditions for initiating talks set by Iran—including unfreezing Iranian frozen assets and a Lebanon ceasefire—have not yet been met. Earlier, a senior Iranian official said that the United States has agreed to unfreeze Iranian frozen assets held in Qatar and banks in other countries, but the U.S. has not issued any public response regarding the issue of unfreezing Iranian assets. Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Speaker Kalibaf said in a social media post on the 10th that two conditions must be met before negotiations can begin: first, a ceasefire in Lebanon, and second, the unfreezing of Iran’s frozen assets.
