Jiejie Microelectronics to Raise IGBT Prices by 10-20% Starting May 1

GateNews

Gate News message, April 17 — Jiejie Microelectronics announced price adjustments across its semiconductor product lines, citing rising raw material costs and capacity constraints. IGBT finished product prices are expected to increase by 10-20% effective May 1, 2026, while MOSFET prices have already risen by the same margin since February 1.

Thyristor products and protective devices are seeing modest price increases due to higher material costs and production pressures. The company cited sustained elevated raw material prices and tight capacity as primary drivers for the adjustments.

Capacity expansion is underway at two facilities: the 6-inch wafer production line has reached approximately 60,000 wafers per month, producing VDMOS, FRED, and high-voltage rectifier diode chips; the Nantong high-end power semiconductor project has achieved roughly 130,000 wafers per month, aimed at alleviating MOSFET supply constraints.
