Daten von CryptoRank zeigen eine wichtige Wendung im Stablecoin-Markt: Im Februar 2026 überholte Solana erstmals Ethereum in Bezug auf das Handelsvolumen. Zuvor hielt Ethereum im Jahr 2024 mit einem Marktanteil von etwa 40–55 % die dominierende Position, während Tron etwa 30–40 % ausmachte. Zu dieser Zeit hatte Solana nur einen kleinen Anteil.

Ab Mitte 2024 begann Solana jedoch deutlich zuzulegen und expandierte weiter im Jahr 2025. Im Februar 2026 machte das Netzwerk etwa 37 %–74 % des gesamten Stablecoin-Volumens aus und überholte Ethereum, das erstmals auf den zweiten Platz fiel.

Dieser Wandel spiegelt ein starkes Wachstum in der tatsächlichen Nutzung wider, nicht nur spekulativ. Obwohl Ethereum weiterhin die Gesamtversorgung an Stablecoins anführt, dominiert Solana derzeit im Zahlungsverkehr.
